Jane runs a cafe on the University of North Carolina campus in Chapel Hill, NC. She was looking for a unique set of furniture.
She wanted a horizontal space where people could add cream and sugar to their coffee and a place for dirty dishes and cups. She also wanted to have taller open shelves for displaying items and plenty of storage behind cabinet doors for supplies and other items.
The solution was a coordinating set of three pieces. A buffet table with double doors beneath the countertop conceals a storage space with an adjustable shelf inside. A pair of matching hutches with open shelves up top and lower storage space below also with double doors to keep the storage area out of sight. The natural pine wood contrasted with the black steel shelf supports and coordinating black door pulls and hinges provide a clean modern industrial feeling look.
